Terms and Conditions

  • To commence production we require a 50% deposit along with written confirmation of your order.

    Final payment is due in full prior to dispatch of your bed board.

  • We include a 180mm recess at the base of each board to allow for clearance of a skirting board. This allowance caters for most applications but if you require something different you will need to notify in writing prior to manufacture commencing. This feature ensures the bed board will sit flush against the wall.

    1. On confirmation of your order and deposit we do provide a brief summarising the fine detail of your order. Please be sure to carefully read and advise if any changes need to be made within 48 hours. If communication with changes is not received within this period we will assume the order is correct and Bed Boards will begin manufacture.

    2. Our boards are all custom made and variations may occur depending on the fabric used.
      We therefore advise that measurements are approximate only. Final measurements may vary slightly.

    3. All of our boards sit on the floor with our 180mm skirting board allowance. Our standard height is 1200mm, however a number of our designs having different heights. We do need all bed dimensions prior to manufacture including height, width and length. The board is held in place by the bed and requires no mounting on the wall. This gives complete flexibility. We do suggest if the board is on a surface that allows movement castor wheels or legs sit in a cap that restricts this movement.

    4. Bed Boards do make an assessment on each design and if pattern matching is required we upholster with the utmost care and make a discretionary call on fabric joins at the time of manufacture.

    5. All fabrics may vary due to different dye lots and Bed Boards are in no way responsible if the correct fabric ordered has differences from a sample.

    6. At all times we will update if there are delays in fabric shipment and advise an alternative if required. However we hold no accountability for delays in shipment by suppliers.

    7. Care instructions for your chosen fabric/s can be found on the back of each board. Bed Boards recommend regular vacuuming with a soft brush attachments, protection from direct sunlight and professional cleaning. Our loose covers consist of washable fabrics and all care instructions must be followed to the letter including water temperature.

    8. Bed Boards have a 5 year structural warranty from date of purchase.
      This is null and void should there be inappropriate use of cleaning products, damage by a third party. Consideration will be also given to the general ware and tare of the product.

    9. Our lead times are generally between 6 -8 weeks. Should there be delays will update at all times.

    10. We will advise freight costs close to time of shipment and it will be dependent on the destination. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address and contact number are provided and to inform Bed Boards of any issues, difficulties or specific requirements associated with access for delivery. We reserve the right to charge additional costs for unusual access not advised in writing.
      Rubbish removal is not included in our standard delivery service.
      Bed boards do endeavour to ensure delivery during the nominated time frame however we cannot guarantee this with outside courier services. Variables with freight that we cannot control may result in the timeframe being missed. If there is a delay, we will attempt to contact you to make alternative arrangements.
      Bed Boards are not permitted to provide courier’s details to clients to contact them directly. Bed Boards manage on your behalf all communication re your requirements with third party freight forwarders.

    11. The buyer shall within 48 hours of delivery inform Bed Boards of any concern whereby the goods are not in accordance with the order. Failing such notice, the goods and their condition shall be deemed to have been delivered and accepted by the buyer.
      Bed Boards and our nominated couriers are not responsible for installing or fixing boards to walls.

  • No returns will be accepted on customised items.

    All cancellations on customised designs shall result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cancelled order.

    All cancellations on ready made orders and sale items prior to despatch shall result in a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the cancelled order.
